1. All members must abide by all State, Federal and Local laws.
2. All boats must meet Alabama State Regulations.
3. All boats will be inspected by the Tournament Chairman and committee, or an assigned designee prior to the start of each tournament.
4. All tournament participants will be entered at the Club meeting preceding the tournament. No member will be allowed to fish if his name has not been entered unless he is an official honorary member of the Club.
5. Meetings will be held on the 2nd Sunday of each month. Club Tournaments will be held on the 3rd Saturday of each month.

7. There will be at least one 2 - day tournament fished during the season. On 2- day tournaments, fish weights will count for both days for the year end total.
8. The first tournament will be held in February. There will be 10 tournaments held. the last tournament will be no later than November.
9. All participants are required to bring their own life jacket and necessary equipment to the tournament.
10. The site of the tournament, starting and ending times, and tournament locations are to be selected by the Tournament Chairman, and the officers. These sites are approved by the General Membership at the December meeting.
11. 3/4th majority of members present at the meeting may vote to coordinate with another event as long as paired members fish are put in separate live wells.
12. 2 Club members can not fish more than twice together in a calendar year if at all possible.
13. Members that are boaters and have health problems, have the option of having a separate drawing with the non - boaters they feel comfortable with driving their boat.
14. If a boater is paired and his boat becomes disabled before the tournament starts, and there is only one open boat, then a coin toss is done with any officer present and the winner gets to fish with the open boat.
15. The Vice President will act as Chairman of all tournaments, or he will appoint a Chairman in the event he is absent. The Chairman and officers will make final decisions concerning any infraction of the rules and will rule on any unusual incident that may occur during a tournament. The decision is final.
16. Only Largemouth, Smallmouth or Kentucky Spotted Bass will be accepted at the weigh - in station. Fish will only be accepted in an official weigh in bag.
17. No participant shall present more than the legal limit (5) of bass at weigh in time. Each participant cannot have more than 5 total bass in his live well at any time.
18. Dead fish will be penalized 4 ounces.
19. No stiff hard, or iced down fish in a cooler will be weighed in at the tournament.
20. Fish are to be caught in a sportsman-like manner with rod and reel and artificial lures. No trolling or live bait are allowed.
21. No one is allowed to leave a boat in order to secure a fish. However a contestant can leave his boat during the tournament to get equipment repaired, restroom breaks, etc.
22. During tournament hours, life jackets must be worn when the boat is running on plane. Kill switch must be attached to the fisherman when the boat is running on plane. The kill switch must work.
23. The use of alcoholic beverages or illegal drugs during tournament hours will result in disqualification from the tournament.
24. No club boat shall fish within 50 yards of another club boat anchored or otherwise without permission from the other boat.
25. Federation Team qualifiers will be determined on raw weight. The end of the year awards will be based on an ounce of weight per meeting and an ounce of weight per tournament.
26. The Federation team will consist of the top 6 anglers at the end of the year based on raw weight. Alternates will be chosen based on decending ranking.
27. Tournament prizes will be awarded to the number 1 angler at the end of the tournament. Certificates or other awards will be given to second and third place. All tournament participants will participate in big fish pot $10.00 per participant. The monies collected in this pot will go to the big fish winner of the tournament.
28. The largest Bass caught during the regular Club tournaments shall be declared big bass at the end of the tournament season.
29. The Club will pay in cash quaranteed 6 places at the end of the year. Any other awards will be determined by the Officers of the Club.
30. First place at the end of the year will be paid 25% of the monies in the treasury after trophies are purchased with a maximum amount of $1,000.00. Second place will be paid 15% and third place will be paid 10%.
31. An ounce will be awarded for each tournament fished, an ounce awarded for each meeting attended and raw weight caught during tournaments will be used to determine end of the year awards.
32. Membership dues are $40.00/month. A $100.00 membership fee is due in January, but no later than February of each year. The new member's fee is due upon joining.
33. Club uniforms consists of a white or gold jersey, black or white cap and black or kelly green jacket with the Goldenrod Insignia attached. Pants should be black, khaki, green or white. The Goldenrod insignias not required on the pants. The club uniform is required at all official Goldenrod Tournaments.
